Maternity Photo Shoot - Advice/Tips?

For those who had a maternity photo shoot, mine is this Sat. with a friend who happens to be a pro photographer.  Was there anything you learned from yours - things you're glad you did, wish you had done differently, etc?  Any advice you can give would be much appreciated.

Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
Life is beautiful!

    I haven't done mine yet, but I'd recommend that if you are going to do any bare belly shots, take a pair of regular jeans as opposed to maternity jeans. Just leave them unbuttoned. I think it looks much better than the big ole band from the maternity jeans!

    Eek, i don't know if I can fit in to any of my pre-pregnancy jeans!

    I don't have any advice sorry!! but have fun!
    Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     I did maternity photos and they were great, and so much fun.  I got all nekked in them.  I felt like a rock star.  My favorite are the ones when Frank and I are both in black pants, blue button down shirts - he had on a yellow tie, and my shirt was only buttoned the top two buttons or so.  He's standing behind me with his hands on my belly.  The pictures that look the best are in solid colors, or all black so the skin of my belly really is the focal point.  Have a wonderful time!!!
