NJ area Catholic (& other) ladies: infertility Mass

On 10/12 in Newark @ 7pm there will be a Mass held for women who are having trouble trying to conceive. This church, St Lucys is also home to the national shrine of St. Gerard, patron saint of inferiles.  It's worth a shot, right?  Although I'm probably not the best person to talk since I have a St. Gerard medal & am still barren.  Ha!  Here's the website:

  • This is at the church my FIL grew up going to.  I'm guessing this is part of the Saint Gerard festival they have there every fall.  We usually go to it, but probably not to the mass (since I'm not catholic).

  • I wish I lived closer, I would def go.  I have 2 prayer cards to St. Gerard that I used to say all the time (well, 1 is for getting pregnant and 1 is for once you are).

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Me and DH went last year.. It's worth the trip.  The church was overfilled with woman.  Very emotional mass.  Might be going again this year.
