My husband and I are having are at a standstill over middle names for our baby girl. We both love the first name Ella, but her middle name has been much harder to agree on. Our last name begins with J and has syllables. Thanks in advance!

I like Ella Brooke and Ella Grace, I think they're both very pretty. I like the name Ella, though, so I feel you can't really go wrong

Anything is better than Ella Grace. It is SUCH a popular combination and before opening this post I had a feeling it'd be on there. I know a few Ella Graces.

I feel like the combo Ella Kate is very popular. I know at least 5 kids with this exact name. I chose Ella Brooke (FWIW, I really like Ella, but it's bad with my last name!)

Ella Kate sounds a lot like "allocate" to me. Maybe it's because I used it a million times a day when I worked, so not everyone would have that pop into their heads.

I know an Ella Grace, and while it's a cute name, it has that "filler" mn feel to me. I like Ella Kate a lot. It sounds classic and beautiful.
