10 w apt - Switching Drs

I had my 10 wk apt yesterday which was my first OB apt. (was at RE before) I go to a midwife group and b/c of my previous history I am now considered High Risk and they've asked me to switch to their Drs Group. She said it was a possiblity they'd let me co-mannage and see the midwives every other visit, but IDK. l I don't like thier Dr's group all that much so I think I am just going to switch DRs all together to allow me to deliver at another local hosptial. I am bummed. I have such a good relationship with my current group but I understand the need for a higher level of care. Crying BOO, POUT, STOMP

On a good note she found the hb pretty easy at 10wks2days! :) LOVE that sound!

  • I am sorry.....while it sucks I think you can agree that it is better to have a high level of care when you are considered high risk.

I wish you lived in Northern Virginia, I'd reccomend my OBGYN he is excellent!

  • I'm sorry :( that sucks.... do you know who you are going to switch to?  I big puffy heart my ob - and he delivers at Good Sam.  Shoot me an email if you would like more info (powers dot hannah at gmail dot com).

Besides all the doctor drama are things going well with you?

  • I really like my OB/GYN too if you are interested in a female doctor on the West side.  She delievers only at Christ.....
