And I will DD if anyone puts "every age" So you have to pick something!!
DD is getting close to 3 and she's starting to say the funniest things that really make me laugh. So I look forward to her hitting 3-4 and hearing all of the crazy things that come out of her mouth.
Re: What age do you look forward to most?
6 months to a year and then 3 - 5 years. (Can I pick 2?! :P)
6 months to a year I love because they are chubby, smiley and basically still imobile. 3 - 5 because they are usually still snuggly and say hilarious things.
I loved the newborn stage, even getting up every three hours was fine by me because it gave me the chance to have my alone time with him. He's 17 months right now and I can definitely see the start of tantrums but I still like it because when he is not throwing a fit everything is so interesting to him! He points and will say "oooooooooo!" I hear 3-4 is a good fun stage so I am looking forward to that!
I am not looking forward to the teenage years, I don't care whether you have boys or girls, those years suck and we all know because we were all there! I get sad thinking about anything after that because then I know he's getting closer to leaving us and going out on his own and that just breaks my heart!
My little goofball born 1/2012
I also cannot wait to discover new books with him!!

I do enjoy the nb/infant stage. I love being able to hold my babies and just snuggle.
DS is just turning 4 and this last year has been fun. He has been talking so much and is still really loving and snuggly so I have really enjoyed it.

With my daughter 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 (in spite of it being the age of "the terrible 2s") was THE BEST! She seemed to achieve something new every day, she was such a pip with the things that would come out of her mouth (still is that way now, at 6), and was potty trained so it made life much easier in terms of running out and doing things without a 20 lb bag hanging from my shoulder. ...although I can't resist the newborn stage either!
I can tell you that 4 was the pits! So head strong, able to reason (and so often was right but I refused to pull out the "because I'm the Mom and I said so" routine), defiant, smart (which isn't always a good thing! LOL).
This is exactly how I feel!!
