I'm just curious to see what the popular opinion on this is.
Names like Serenity, Faith, Honor, Patience, and Prudence - I just...can't see it. Prudence is a guilty pleasure because of the nn Pru, but I still wouldn't name any theoretical daughter of mine that.
Re: Virtues as baby names?
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
When paired with the right FN and LN, they can work, under the right circumstances.
It's not really a virtue, but if we have another girl, her MN will be Hope, simply because hope is all that kept us going after our loss.

DH has a cousin who has given his 5 children the following names Timothy Courage, Eli Steadfast, Cora Faith, Calvin Diligent, and James Truth
I love them, serentiy is on our list, I wish there were some similar that were used more for boys. I have a great friend named Grace, and have known wonderful Faith's and Charity.... all of which loved their names.
Hate this. I also hate it when people name their children after months or seasons of the year (e.g., April, September, Winter, Summer...)
