Update to this craptastic cycle

So, I went in today for cd3. They also did a beta, so I should know something this afternoon. I did get one on Wednesday, which was 20. So, we wait and see. But, my lining was only at 3, so I'm pretty sure it's goin down.

And, for more great news...I have four huge cysts. In addition to my two "regulars" (the endo, which are also a little bigger than last cycle) I have 3 on the left and 1 on the right. They range in size from 21 to 35. So, we're definitely on a break cycle. The NP is going to talk to the doc today and see if she wants me to go back on bcp or just ride it out.

But, we did get some really good news today! We're now offically licensed foster parents!!!!! Now we wait for a call with a possible match.

    I am sorry about this past cycle and the cysts. But congratulations on becoming foster parents!! That is wonderful!

    Sorry about the bad Dr visit, but that is great that you are foster parents!! Congrats, what an exciting new journey!

    I am sorry about your bad appt. That is awesome about the foster parent phone call. We have some close friends that foster and it is so rewarding! I hope they call you soon

    Wow, how emotionally draining this cycle has been for you.  But glad you got such great news today too!  That's amazing that you'll be foster parenting!

    You did not need more bad news....sorry!!

    Congrats on foster parent licensing!! That is wonderful news!

    me: 39 DH: 36      dx: unexplained (ugh) 

    January 2011 - December 2012: 4 cycles w/Clomid; 9 IUIs w/Follistim & Menopur;  two IVF cycles converted to IUI (poor response/dominant follicle) 

    August 2014 IVF (antagonist protocol: Menopur, Follistim, Ganirelix, dexamethasone): 13 eggs, 9 mature, 8 fertilized w/ICSI; 0 frozen, 3 transferred day 5 = BFN

    October 2014 IVF (micro-lupron protocol: mircrolupron, Menopur, Follistim, dexamethasone): 8 eggs, 4 mature, 3 fertilized w/ICSI; 3 transferred day 3 = BFP! Beta 1=121; Beta 2=287; Beta 3 =678. Miscarriage @ 8w2d. :(

    Oh hun, I'm so sorry :( I wish this were easier.

    Congrats on the foster parenting!! I hear, that once you start fostering you'll totally get KU. Ha! :) But really, good luck!

    So, today's beta was 4. I have to go back for one more on Monday and we'll decide where to go from there.
