DD will be transitioning to WCM sometime in the next month. It occurred to me last night that I have no idea how to do this. She gets three meals a day and three bottles of formula. Starting next week, I want to cut out the afternoon bottle and replace it with a snack. So that will leave first thing in the morning and bed time.
Our typical bedtime routine involves play time after dinner, 15 minutes of snuggle time to wind down, a bath and/or lotion (bath is every other day), and story time while getting her bottle. She goes to bed around 8:15 and is put in her crib drowsy but awake.
When you weaned from the night time bottle, did you just keep the routine the same minus the bottle? I know we are super lucky that she goes to sleep so easily but I am starting to worry that this won't continue when bottles go away.
