I want to get new carpet in my nursey. I know to look for a low VOC carpet. I have read a couple things that have me concerned. Baby is due in Dec. so I thought I had plenty of time to air out the room, but is this safe?
Any recommendations on what kind of carpet - burber, plush???
I dont want wood floors in there. I have wood floor through out my whole house, and would love to have somewhere for baby to crawl on carpet.
Re: New Carpet in Nursey???
I don't know what your budget is, but this is what's going in our new house. It's probably doable if you're just doing the nursery. It's a short loop, not like your regular pile carpet, but not a shag either and it's really soft. I love how it cleans, and it is definately baby friendly.

Oh, in the menu, you have to watch the challenge...rhinos on the carpet!
I second the smart strand, if possible. We just got it in our home (the Karastan version ?- not sure of the difference, if any and two different versions) and love it! We have had it in our bedroom and guest bedroom for roughly a year and it is great. We have 2 big dogs and we've had no issues.
Good luck!
