I have been feeling great the last week, so I started cooking again. It feels good to not waste money on takeout! I have just been using what we have in our kitchen, and I'm feeling like my normal frugal self again. Yay! Plus, My husband (who doesn't know how to cook) made dinner last night. I gave him the recipe and ingrediants and told him to ask me if he had any questions. It turned out really well. It was so nice to have dinner without having to cook it

I think I'm going to teach him how to cook.
Re: It is nice not eating takeout..
Awesome! I am so ready to start eating at home - I'm hoping soon I will get over this "nothing sounds good phase".
I wonder what would happen if I gave DH a recipe
. I've put him in charge of cooking ground beef for tacos/spaghetti before, but that's about the extent of his indoor cooking skills.
