Is you lo on vitamins?

Prescribed by pedi or over the counter? Mine is not. Pedi never mentioned it. Should I be asking for vitamins??

    Nope. My pedi said he doesn't need them but i forgot to ask why.

    Vitamin D. Over the counter. She strongly recommended it since there's little sun here.

    Originally no, but LO is now on polyvisol for borderline low vitamin d (from bf and me being anal about sun protection).

    When I had my 6 year old I was prescribed vitamins for her. It has never been mentioned this time.

    I asked, and he said it wasn't necessary for FF babies, as formula is fortified with everything they need.

    Can't hurt to ask your pedi.

    Same here.  Ours were on them briefly in the nicu when I was trying to BF, but once they were on 100% formula they said they don't need them.

    DS is taking a prescription vitamin with flouride.  He drinks bottled water, which doesn't contain flouride, nor does our city water supply.

    We were giving her vitamins, but only because DD was slightly anemic at her 1 year appointment. We are getting a redraw soon to see if we need to start doing it again. I quit when she wouldn't take the nasty liquid without a fight.

    He was on Poly-vi-Sol until we switched to formula at 10 weeks.  He needed the extra iron.  The Pedi said that formula has a lot of extra "groceries" in it. LOL.

    This is what I'm worried about. Plus he hasn't been on formula for a couple months.

    poly vi sol with iron since she's a preemie and has anemia issues. Need to take them for the first year. They make her poo stink.

    Amelia takes a vitamin. My daughter is a horrible eater and is lacking in the nutrtion department.
