Going to tell DD on her Birthday about Baby #3 on the way

Her birthday is on 10/4 which is the day of our next appointment.  We hope all looks good still and we hear a heartbeat.  We plan to put a picture of the u/s in her card and maybe have DS where a big brother shirt that has a boy on skate board (she loves to skate board) on it.  She will be so excited!

The original plan was to announce to everyone at their (DS and her) joint birthday party on 10/30 (my actual birthday) but I started showing early so we started to tell family and close friends around 8 weeks.  We will not come out on FB until probably November....maybe a special announcement on DS's 1st birthday something like "K will be promoting his title to Big Brother come April 2012"

How fun!! Let us know how it goes, I'm sure she will be so happy. I wish DD would understand, but she does love babies so i'm sure she'll be happy.

I can't wait.  DS will be happy to have another baby to talk to and hug and kiss.  He hugs and kisses and smiles at all babies and children.  he is a little love bug!  I hope that stays and he doesn't get jealous.  So far he is not jealous if I give attention to other babies or DD and he has never had that separation anxiety...well if I leave him in the pack n play while I cook or go to the bathroom he lets out a cry and wants me...but if someone watches him for us and we leave he is fine.  Hopefully that is a good sign.
