I would like to take a "babymoon" with my hubby before the baby gets here. With all of us being due in April, it makes it tough! We would want to wait until after the hectic holiday time...which puts us into January/February. It is hard to decide where to go during those cold months! If you plan to take a babymoon...where are you going? What will you be doing? I have seen some babymoon packages on websites...just not sure what we want to do but I want to book it soon if possible!

Re: babymoon ideas??
Not sure where you live, which might determine where you want to go--but since you're flexible on a location, you could check out the great Escapes deals on Livingsocial.com and Groupon.com They always have tons of all-inclusives and resorts in Florida, California, and the Caribbean (if you want to leave the country). The Travelzoo emails are good, too.
They seem to be pretty good deals and will warm you up for a few days!
We live near Austin (TX) and are planning to go down to the coast for a long weekend before the baby comes. We will likely do it in early March. My family has a house on the beach there so it will be really affordable. We love the beach and want to make one last trip together before the baby comes.
We looked at taking a trip out of the country during December-January time frame but the price of everything is jacked up so much then, I guess because people commonly leave the cold and go to where it is warm.
We are thinking of doing this in January maybe. A week in mexico at an all inclusive resort sounds about what I'd be interested in... I'll be keeping an eye on living social over the coming months.
I already checked the flights, from boston to cancun is about $350/pps so if we get a good deal on a resort, it mightn't be so bad overall.
We are going to St. Martin December 10-17 for our baby moon. Well, to be honest the trip was planned before the baby, but it did dictate when we started TTC, so now it is our baby moon
.
That week is the week before what is considered peak season, so we got the house for about half of the price if we went the next week. Flights are about $600 each (from charlotte).
I agree with the PP about looking at living social escapes, also travelzoo has some great deals.
Have fun!
LOL - we're doing the same thing in December to see the Pats play the Broncos! I'm hoping my only warm coat will still fit around the belly then!
