U/S wasn't planned for, but happened anyway!

Had my 12 week appointment last Thursday.  They couldn't find a heartbeat with the doppler, so they sent me down to get an ultrasound immediately.  It was a bit nerve wracking waiting, but we had a good outcome.  Baby's heart rate was 167 and he or she was moving around all over the place.

It was scary for a little bit, but great to have a picture to have some visual proof that there's a baby in there!

    Im happy to hear when they dont find a hb with a doppler that you got a good ultra sound.  Here is to a good HB!!

    I hate when they can't find that heartbeat, that happened to me and I freaked! Luckily, baby was just not cooperating and they eventually found it, it was just hiding behind the sound of my heart.
