Bloodwork from NT scan is in!!

We had our NT scan last Wednesday. I got the call about our bloodwork results this morning!! Our risk of DS is 1: 3,040 and our risk of trisomy 13 and 18 were both 1: more than 10,000!!! I am so relieved...I feel like I can start relaxing more about this pregnancy and really begin to focus on enjoying every single minute!! Good luck to everyone that is getting their NT scans soon and/or waiting for the bloodwork results!

That's awesome!! I'm beggining to think that the people at my OBGY and at the speciallist don't know how to talk. I got my preliminary results yesterday and all she said was "oh they came back normal"... no percentages or nothing!

With my last pg, I was 37 and when I was told the results of my NT scan, I was simply told I was screen negative.  No ratios were provided.  This time around, I will ask for the numbers because I have learned that a screen negative is odds greater than 1:100 for downs.  Being that I'm 40, I want to know exactly why my numbers are this time, so I can decide if I want further screening or not, rather than have the doc decide that I am screen negative and offer no further testing.

That is great news!  I get my NT tonight after much debating on weather or not to get it and I'm terrified that the numbers will just make me worry for nothing.

Yay! Glad everything came back good! We got ours back yesterday, with the exception of SMA which we opted to do and will get back tomorrow I think, but ours came back normal too...I think tryzome was like 1 in 14,000!

Congrats on the great results!  I'm going for my scan on Friday... i'm excited and nervous at the same time!

Congrats! I am a little jealous of everyone getting results so soon. Mine said I wouldn't hear anything until after the second round of b/w, so not for another month.
