I am not as far along as many of you, so I wanted to believe (desperately hoping) that a couple of weeks makes a difference.
Have you started feeling better the closer to 2nd tri you get or are you still suffering? I would LOVE to believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel for this 24-7 nausea
Re: M/S ladies--Are you feeling better?
I am still having good days and bad days, although the good are starting to outnumber the bad. I felt fine yesterday but threw up this morning...
my mom told me that the nausea magically goes away at 12 weeks and I'm still waiting for that to happen!
I never had terrible m/s - only barfed once but was queasy a lot, but I had awful food aversions. Things started to get better between 9 and 10 weeks, although I'm not completely back to normal.
Hopefully they turn around for you soon!
Mine is just a tiny bit better. I'm still having big food aversions, but not quite as nauseous. I find that eating very small snacks/meals frequently seems to help the most - including eating RIGHT before I go to sleep.
I am also, however, now combating lactose intolerance, so I have also learned that cheese is not a good snack for me, especially at night. It makes me feel really wierd, sick, nauseous at the same time =(.
NO! I thought by now I'd be feeling much better. Last week I had 4 days in a row that were the worst- actually vomited a couple times and just felt like I was on verge of vomiting all day and night. Over the weekend I felt only a bit sick so thought- this is it! It's over! Then yesterday I woke up feeling horrible again.
I just can't wait to not feel sick and to want to eat healthy foods again! Not to mention having some energy... i would kill for a bit of energy...
I am feeling much better overall and can now eat veggies, again. I started feeling better right before I hit 10 weeks. I still feel sick when I wake up in the mornings because I am beyond the point of hunger but once I get breakfast down I am good. Then I notice I start to feel yucky before lunch and again before dinner. So I try to stay ahead of the hunger and I am much better!
I am 10 weeks and 2 days preggers today.
Much, thanks mostly to taking B6 2-3 times every day and eating smaller "meals" more often throughout the day. If I forget to eat or don't get enough water, I have nasty waves still but I just look at it as a reminder.
Hope yours lets up soon!
I definitely feel better today than I did a couple weeks ago at this point. I have good days and bad days now, whereas before I had bad days only.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel, for sure!
Let's see...
I'm 11 weeks this past sunday, so almost done with the first trimester, and I haven't thrown up AT ALL!
I've had nausea, sure, but no vomit.
I'm sooo happy because throwing up is just horrible to me
I still have food "aversions" and there's things that make me feel like if I breathe wrong or think of something gross then I'm done for and I'm throwing up. When that happens ( when I feel like I'm on the brink of throwing up) I just relax, and DON'T take deep breaths. I just sit back breathe normally and thing of something that I have to do that day or my baby (:
