Blech, a cold

Excuse me while I whine. So it's only week 3 of school and the kiddies decided they couldn't keep their germs to themselves any more. I  slept like crap last night and today was pure misery. My nose is red and constantly running, it hurts when I sneeze, my throat is sore and my lips are chapped. And it's only Monday...how am I going to survive the week without my usual arsenal of cold remedies?

Thanks for listening to me biitch and moan, I'm going to go drag myself upstairs and go to bed now.

Chapstick and a netti pot. I drank hot drinks with my sinus and it helped relieve some of that.

Is the netti pot that weird thing where you force stuff up your nose or something? I can barely handle a nasal inhaler so I don't think I could do that. I may change my mind at some point this week though.

I've never used a netti pot either. It freaks me out.

those pots are amazing! They really clear your nose and you feel a million times better. i also have a cold right now, my doctor told me I can take Sudafed but to limit it to one maybe two times in the day. Also use a humidifier, that works and plain nasal spray. Drink lots of OJ and feel better!
