Thoughts on Leot?

I heard this name on Project Runway the other night, and now I'm kind of in love with it (in a very, very guilty kind of way). All google will tell me is that it's a 'Scottish name of Unknown meaning'.

I'm not a fan. It reminds me of Liat, which is a fairly common Hebrew women's name. If I didn't have that association, I might not mind it though.

I saw that episode too! I also liked the name but didn't think I could ever use it. I think in the US it would be confused for an odd nickname for Elliott. I do (secretly, and also in a guilty way) like it.
