i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.
I am. I hear it's not that bad, a Rhogam shot at 28 weeks and another after delivery. A PP once told me that the worse part of it is that it's really cold.
Me. I know some people seem to get really freaked out or upset about it, but to me it wasn't that big of a deal. You get a shot part way through, I think 28 weeks, but can't remember and then after the delivery.
I am. It's only an issue if your DH/SO is Rh+. If so, you get a Rhogam shot at 28 weeks or so and one after delivery. NBD. If not, you do nothing.
Just wanted to mention that since both DH and I are - I plan to talk to my Dr. to see if I even need to have one. So it is a possibility that you won't if you know what you DH/SO is.

Yep I am, DH is + so it is a moot point about getting the shots. It's no big deal though. They told me even if DH was - they wouldn't care. They say that the incidence of a child not being the father's happens often enough that they just have a blanket policy of not believing anyone.
I am too--I was pretty happy to finally learn my blood type after all these years. DH doesn't know his, so I'll end up having the shot at 28 weeks and again after delivery, as PPs have mentioned.
I am O- and b/c of spotting had Rhogam at 9 weeks. They FINALLY found the cause of my bleeding issue and it is not related to LO at all and is no threat, but they are going to give me a second shot of it tomorrow just to be safe.
It is not a big deal at all other than mine was cold so it feels kind of funny going in!
Me too! Haven't heard anything from my doc yet, so I am not concerned....my sis was neg too and had to have a shot after delivery or something. I am not worried, I am fine with shots!

That's kind of funny and kind of sad at the same time. I thought they wouldn't do anything if your partner was Rh- too! Interesting.

I would assume that if you insist they do nothing and test the baby's blood type right after birth they would have to go with that though..

That is what they did with my son, I was just talking about the 28 week shot. He was + so I got both shots.

I am. AND I had some bleeding around 8 weeks, so I've already gotten the shot. I will probably need another around 28 weeks or so.
DH is Rh-, but they don't care.
