NTR: Where do I get "in" rain boots for myself?

It has been raining here so much lately that I think it is about time I got myself a pair of rain boots. I don't remember the last time I had a pair. What is "in style" right now for rain boots? Where would I purchase them? I probably should try them on since I'm not certain what size I would wear. My feet have grown a bit since having my two girls. Thanks for any suggestions!!

They are really well made. I've had them for two rainy seasons, wear them a LOT since I live in Portland and it's never really stops raining here, and they are still in great condition.

And another though, don't buy the Target ones. I had a pair for about a month and a half and they started leaking. I complained, and they sent me new ones, and those leaked after a few months too. Not worth the money IMO.

I live in NYC, surrounded by fashionistas, and think you can never go wrong with a simple pair of black Hunter brand rain boots. They're EVERYWHERE around here.

I agree about the black Hunters. I have a pair and I love them. They are comfortable, classic, match all outfits (unlike ones with funky designs). Now if Texas could get out of this drought, I could actually wear them.

Ditto this. I bowed to the Hunter fashion during Hurricane Irene. Except that I got them in a fun, bright color because the thought of putting black boots on for a dreary day was depressing. I've gotten so many compliments on my rhubarb-colored boots.

I got mine from Zappos- free shipping both ways if you decide you want to send them back or if you want to order different styles & colors.

I have the navy color Hunter rain boots and love them! They'll last a really long time!
