I'm mainly a lurker but I think we picked a name and I'd love some opinions. We're going to name our little girl Helen Elizabeth. Helen after my grandmother and Elizabeth is another family name.

Agreed, though I wouldn't say I hate Helen. I just really love Helena.

Pretty and Classic. I like Helen Elizabeth, however like pp have said you have plenty of other choices with Helen too. Helena/Elena/Elaine all are diminutive of Helen. My mother's name is Helen Elaine, yup, the same name twice!

Helen goes best with Elizabeth though. The consonant 'n' followed by Elizabeth flows better than Helena or Elena would.
