Had my NT scan today PIP

So, had the NT scan, the u/s tech was awesome!  She found the stomach and the bladder and a little something else.  Not sure if you can see what's written on the pic but she said if she had to bet money... It was great, doc said the numbers were all within normal range.  I did finally get confirmation today that my due date has been moved.  When I found out I was pg I told them my cycles were short so I was further along than LMP showed.  They said baby looked ahead in the 8 week u/s but didn't change the date but they confirmed with this one, baby is definitely ahead.  My new due date is 4/1/12, I've got an April Fool's baby!  Happy days, happy days!

What's the NT scan? Sorry this is my first and I'm clueless!!!

It's the scan for Down Syndrome.  I did it b/c I'm almost 36 and higher risk for DS.  They look for a nasal bone and the fluid on the back on the neck, it's 2 markers for DS.  Then they take bloodwork to check for other markers.

Thanks for filling me in!!  I go the 4th to discuss what sort of testing, if any, we would like to do.  I'm not so concerned about Downs, but I like the idea of such a detailed u/s!

Congrats!  I have 3 little boys and they are amazing!!  I went for my NT scan yesterday and I'm annoyed they wouldn't even try to see what it was!  Are you going back at 16 wks for more blood work?  I was told to not come back until 18 wks for my anatomy scan..
