The information my OB gave me said I can't take tylenol until after 12 weeks- just wondering if anyone was taking anything else before this point? Only asking because I slept on my neck wrong last night and it is absolutely killing me today...I guess I will just tough it out and deal with it, but curious nonetheless about any other possible options? Thanks!

weird.  I have never heard that before, in fact my doc told me the only thing I can take while pg is tylenol.  I am allergic to aspirin, so I can't take that even if it's allowed.  For the record, I took tylenol throughout my first pg, including during the 1st tri and my LO is perfect.  I have also taken tylenol a few times already in this pg (1000 mg/day total) and as far as I know LO is fine.

My OB ok'd tylenol throughout my pregnancy. In fact, it is the ONLY med you can take for pain...Advil, Excedrin, and aspirin are all no-nos.

That's a new one.  I think your OB is a little off on that.  You can take Tylenol if you need it before 12 weeks.

Tylenol is the safest thing during pg. I've never heard you had to wait until second tri.

This. My doctor actually handed out a flier with tons of information as what to take, not to take.
