ugh to jeans

I haven't worn jeans since May and had to get them out this week as autumn has arrived.

Ugh. Jeans used to be so comfy but right now I am dying for my capris, skirts and shorts that were more forgiving.

Seriously considering breaking out some of my mat pants... Probably should wait until I tell someone I'm pregnant though right?

Re: ugh to jeans

  • I just had to go buy a new pair of black pants for work yesterday my old pair was on its last leg and I decided I would just go to Ross in case I had to get a little bit bigger of a size since my pants are all tighter now and I refuse to pay a fortune for them lol. I guess I didn't fully prepare myself for the realization I wasn't going to be able to fit in my normal size I about cried... I know this is normal and for a greater cause coming but not really having a bump yet I just feel obese lol

  • Two words: Belly Bands!!! i love them.. I have 1 white and 1 black. I still wear my jeans and some wont close all the way so I just put the belly band over it and it looks like I'm wearing a tank top under my blouse. Nobody knows my pants are not closed all the way... They are So comfy!!! Big Smile

  • That hatred your feeling towards jeans...I have that same feeling towards real shoes. I had to put away my flip flops (which I am lucky enough to get to wear to work) that I have worn for months.

    I WANT SUMMER BACK.

I started wearing maternity jeans at least 3 weeks ago. None of my regular jeans fit, not even my "fat day" jeans. They all gave me what I call the double belly...its not attractive.

haha, i've been wearing my fatday jeans for a while now - but my bloat belly is doing the same thing and creating an awful muffin top.  Not to mention I feel like I am squishing all of my insides together.  I finally caved and ordered a pair of maternity jeans (thank god for continuous gap sales!).

  • I had the realization that I have no pants for work (at the beginning of the summer, I altered them all into shorter lengths ... why I thought that was a good idea, I'll never know). So I figured what's the point in buying regular clothes when they'll probably only fit for a few more weeks?

So I went to this nice thrift store on my lunch called Savers and got a pair of mat pants for work, a pair of mat jeans and sweater for $15. They all are in really good condition.

Yes! My size seems to be fluctuating daily so these have been really great.

Savers has maternity clothes?!?  I had no idea?  Are they separated out into their own section, or do you have to dig?

  • If they can't tell they are maternity pants then it wouldn't matter. My BIL's wife was wearing some and I only know because she told me. Looking at them I'd never know. I love jeans but I hate wearing them because none of them fit. I'm normally a size 0/1 and so I bought a pair of 2s thinking I could wear them for a bit....no even they are too tight. So I bought size 1 maternity pants...the elastic is too big still!!! AHHH! I have no good pants.
