Hurricane Irene killed my Follistim :(

We were in India when Hurricane Irene hit.  Although it was only a cat. 1 storm our 'hood was without power for a week.  My mom was able to grab what little I had in my fridge & deep freezer & divided it up between her place & my grandma's.  However, she did not look in the butter compartment in the fridge door which is where I had a vial of Follistim I was savnig for IVF.  We're lucky enough to have 80% meds coverage but even with that the co-pay is still like $200 which is not cheap.  Anyone claim a loss for meds before?  We have renter's insurance.  Thanks!

I'm guessing you have at least a $500 deductible and wouldn't be worth it.

ugh, that really sucks. I would have been so upset. I do doubt it would get you much unless you had more to put with the claim.

I agree.  My homeowner's deductible is somewhere between $500-1000..  Sorry that the storm ruined your Follistim.
