DH and I both like 2 boy names, but have concerns about both of them. The names are Quinn and Connor. My concern with Quinn is that it has become too feminine, meaning that a lot of people are choosing it for their little girls. That said, I do like it, but am worried that he may get picked on for having a "girl's name". The concern with Connor is that it has become too popular. It could be that I am just uber-aware of it, because I've liked it for a while now. Do you ladies agree that Connor has become overly popular? I guess I'm looking for opinions on the 2 names that we like and also for any other suggestions that may come to mind based on these. The MN will most likely be Jacob (DH's name), if that helps.
Re: Boy name ideas
I love them both. But I am baised. I am irish, and my grandmothers maiden name was Quinn. I also have a cousin named Conor (spelled on purpose with 1 n)
I say if you like them, use them. i do not think of Quinn as a girls name, I actually think it is more appropriate for a boy. If my Fiance liked the name Quinn, we would use it. But a friend of mine named her son Eliott Quinn. I say use them!
Since you like "last name" names, have you looked at your family tree and considered whether any family names would work?
