I didn't watch the news story, but saw a post on facebook about how "ridiculous" the idea was "for a man to go out partying while his super pregnant wife or gf is home alone, uncomfortable, and anxious."   I thought the comment seemed ridiculous personally, because it seems like kind of a cute idea to me.  I think it's all in fun... like a man shower of sorts.  His life really is going to change drastically, so who cares if he wants to go out ONE NIGHT and party it up!  If I saw a guy out for a dadchelor party, I'd for sure buy him a drink!
