DH rant (NPR)

So every month or so I shave DH's head(with a guard 3). Well tonight he was bugging me for a haircut, and since he has an interview tomorrow I figured it was a good idea.

Let me just start off with NO I am not a professional, we decided paying someone 15 bucks to do an even buzz cut was a waste. DH claims I do a decent enough job to get by. But he normally will go back and touch up himself.

Well tonight when he went to go do his touch ups I go to another room. A buzz and a crash later I hear "Uhhh Laura...I just screwed up...big time" I sighed and calmly asked "You forgot to put the guard back on didn't you." I turn the corner and sure enough, giant bald spot, right at the front, no hiding it. So he then just shaved the rest of the head to match. I'm not completely superficial, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't hate what he did to his hair.. Ugh. He's such a cluts. 

End rant.

LOL (sorry to laugh) this reminds me of the episode of HIMYM of Marshall and Lily's wedding where Marshall shaves the front of his head.

 I'm glad it's an easy fix for a guy, though. Even though they may not look great with a shaved head, at least they can do it. My DH and his mom have a dog grooming business, and since MIL has always groomed dogs, she also cuts his and BIL's hair. DH is really picky and usually does most of it himself and then has his Mom finish the parts he can't reach, but I usually stay away when this is going on, he gets so picky about it! I hope I never have to start cutting his hair... LOL

Oh no!!! I do DH's hair as well.. and Im always terrified this is going to happen!

I cut my husband's hair but he stays bald so I don't use a guard. Luckily in my situation, I've seen him with and without hair and even though he's not bald by choice, I prefer him that way.

That actually happened to DH when he went to get his hair cut for our wedding.  The stupid woman totally forgot the guard and gave him a bald spot.  2 days before our wedding!!

Needless to say, he is a bit more shaved than I like him in the pictures

Haha. don't be sorry for your laughs, I laughed myself too. I swear DH was about to tear up when i first saw the spot. Haha, he was so ashamed. It doesn't look TERRIBLE, just not the preferred look for either of us.

Yes, at least for men its and easy fix!

 That HIMYM episode was hilarious! Love it.

And boy I'd be so mad if a professional ruined my DH's hair only days before our wedding! Can you say free haircuts for life?
