name opinion

my friend found out she is having a girl and is considering the name liliella (pronounced like lilly ella, just combined) avery. what the consensus?
Mom to 2 beautiful girls, 3 yrs and 22 months old. My 2nd was born at 32 weeks due to Rhogam failure/severe complications from Rh disease and is our miracle. She has bilateral auditory neuropathy and a cochlear implant, activated 4/5/2012 at 19 months. Lilypie First Birthday tickers

  • ok just making sure i wasnt the only one who didnt like it!!! i agree mod, way too many I's. i think no one will know how to say it based on the spelling.

  • NMS, sorry. Sounds like a made up name and she should just name her Lilly Ella if she likes those names.

  • not a fan.  why not just stick with Lilly Ella??  all these creative name spellings grate my nerves.

  • I think it's hard to pronounce, especially for a little kid.
  • I like it as a first and middle name, but not all together like that.. the spelling is awkward too!
  • That messed with my eyes. It's a mouthful too.
  • liliella avery seems long (too many syllables). but are you asking on her behalf?

  • Nms. I think it sounds really trendy. I've seen a lot of names recently with -ella at the end (Isabella, Arabella, Sarabella, Rosabella, Avabella, Ella, Bella, etc.). I'm pretty sure we'll see a baby Portabella before the trend is over with.
  • Way too many L's and it will be very hard for this child to pronounce her own name when she's little.
  • Looks strange & I think she'd constantly be asked to repeat herself whenever someone asks her name.
