April 2012 Moms

Sorry, yet another m/s post

okay, so a couple days ago I know a member asked is it better just to puke and get it over with.. mixed answers (because every pregnancy is different)

So my question is: does it make it easier if I just eat "soft" foods? Today I kept some of my dinner down.. but breakfast and lunch.. not at all... so should I just do smoothies or something so at least the puking isn't painful? EH. This has to stop!!

I feel starving most of the time.. so hungry I am nauseous, and then I eat and can't keep it down.  Can we move the clock up or the calendar page?

  • Peppermint or spearmint gum is a good idea for m/s. If you cant hold much down try soup, it's delicious when your hungry and healthy!

  • It was me that asked about puking and getting it over with to feel better.

What really ended up giving me relief was breaking down and taking a Zofran pill from my doctor. I am trying to not take them every day, but saving them for my worst days. Other things that help are going to sleep early like 8 or 8:30 and keeping busy when I'm awake - laying around does not help for me!

Hang in there. M/S completely sucks, and while I'm trying crackers, mints, sour ball candies, etc., nothing has been the magic cure yet. (I wish!)
