When should I go to the Dr, feels like I'm getting strep

I've been feeling tired the past few days, hot then cold, and I might be getting strep (had it last year so I vividly remember what it felt like but it could also be sinus drainage). Part of me wants to wait it out as long as possible because I know there isn't much the doc can give me but I also don't want to do anything to hurt the baby.  I've taken my temp and I don't have a fever and my mucus is clear. I'm not coughing anything up yet.

If you think you have strep I would go asap, that is the worst!  I got strep earlier this year and thought my throat would rot off my body.  Not only are you feverish and achy, but you can't even swollow...not even to drink fluids.  I think you can take antibiotics when you are pregnant, especially if you need it for something like strep throat.  Hope you feel well really soon!  I hope its not strep! 

Oh, and don't wait until the weekend.....never fun going to the ER when you feel that sick!

There are safe antibiotics you can take during pregnancy.  I would give them a call in the morning and not wait it out.

If you think you have strep, go now. They can give you safe antibiotics. Thats the great thing about strep. As soon as you take the meds you feel good again
