Latex fruit allergy? New here with a question

DS is almost 13 months old. When we first introduced foods, I noticed a reaction to bananas. He would act like he had severe stomach cramps (pulling legs up under him, screaming, and pushing down on stomach). Bananas make DH have diarrhea, so I knew there was a chance of a reaction. We have made sure he doesn't get bananas anymore. The other day I was reading on here, and someone posted about bananas and latex being linked. I did some research and noticed that another one of the foods on the list he had the same reaction to. Then, on Friday, he had pineapple at daycare. Had the same reaction Friday night and then threw up all day Saturday and Sunday. He also ran a low grade fever this weekend (Sat.-Sun.). Now tonight, he had ravioli with tomato sauce. (Tomato is on the list) He currently has a rash all over his stomach and back. So I guess my question is, is this all related? Is it the latex fruit allergy? How do I find out? What questions do I need to ask my pedi? Sorry for the 20 questions, I just really don't know what to do. I feel clueless and helpless and my baby keeps ending up in pain. I hate that more than anything. TIA for any help.

laytex and bananas are related (laytex is made with proteins from the same plant) so yes- if you're seeing a banana reaction you could easily find a laytex one as well.  My son tested positive for a banana allergy and negative for laytex- but if he was around a bunch of balloons etc- we'd still see a reaction.

Pineapple/citrus/tomato can also work together if I"m remembering correctly.  I'd get him to an allergist and stick to safe foods until you can get him tested.  Keeping a food journal might help also- you can detail any reactions you see and elminate those foods.
