HIMYM thoughts (read after watching it)

Okay, I saw the previous post last night, so I figured I'd start the one for everyone's opinions.  I love the whole team Nora/team Robin debate, but I'm curious if anyone else noticed the "Marshall and Steph 4eva" shirt he was wearing in one of the future flashes.  Any ideas?  I just started watching last year, so I may have missed something in previous seasons.  Also, the whole, having DH drink your liquor to hide the secret, we totally did that a few times.

I missed that shirt and deleted it off my DVR already. Darn. Maybe he and Lily are having a girl????

 I liked it a lot. I like how Lily is still early in her pregnancy. It makes it much easier to relate to. The whole fake drinking thing reminded me of numerous posts from here.

I have a feeling we won't find out who Barney is marrying until the Season Finale...if even then. But, I really like how they did it.

Team Robin alllllll the way  I always want them to get together...plus, how AMAZING was their dance together?  And then that little hot moment at the end?  AH I love them!  They're totally gonna get married :P

Favorite moment of the premiere: (2nd episode) When Ted is trying to pick between two girls and Lily says, "ok pick on left or right" :slap:

Hrm. I didn't read the shirt when I saw it, but as far as I know, there hasn't been a girl in Marshall's past named Steph (or any variation of that). In the future, Lilly and Marshall are still happily married, so who knows.

Oh, if Steph is actually their daughter- Marshall quits smoking the day their son is born, so either they have Steph first and he still smokes or Steph is their second kid. Or, it's Stephen.

I totally want him to marry Robin. Or leave Norah standing at the altar for Robin. Norah is sweet but she just doesn't get him like Robin would. I love when Lily slapped Ted. That cracked me up! And Beercules lol Marshall is awesome. About the shirt, it was a quick clip in a casino. Maybe they go to Vegas? I agree that my best thought is a daughter named Steph. I don't want Ted to date that girl again or have her be his wife.

I know he isn't marrying Robin and here is why. Lily isn't wearing a dress that seems like a bridesmaids dress. She would be in the wedding for sure and to me she isn't dressed wedding-y enough. Also, I think the only reason they brought Victoria back is so Ted will believe in destiny again.

 I was always a huge Victoria fan and squealed when the showed her last night...I don't think she is the mother but that she will be a part in getting Ted to the point of meeting her.

And right now I am totally Team Robin all the way...she gets Barney like no one else does.  So unless they can show something amazing between Barney and Norah, I'm not into them getting married.

Robin all the way! And I love Victoria. I noticed the shirt, but couldn't read what it said. Probably a daughter; the writers could have forgot they said son in a previous episode. I'm just so excited its started!

I didn't notice the shirt either.... My questions were: Lily wasn't in a bridesmaid dress but told Ted that the bride needed to talk to him... Why would Nora want to talk to Ted? Also, I was very confused on why Ted was in a tux with a bow-tie and Barney was in a regular suit shirt and tie...

I don't think that Victoria will take Ted back, he did try to have sex with Robin while still dating Victoria..

I was also confused by the outfits. But maybe it was on purpose to confuse us. Oh I just had a thought....Barney always wears a suit. So that makes sense I guess. Maybe they're all in Vegas and barney is eloping? Hence the mismatch outfits?

My guess is that the bride wants to check in with Ted to see how Barney is. Also I think Barney loves his suits and ties. It is his thing.

I think that with the "Marshall and Steph 4Eva" was just supposed to be a clip from a future trip to Vegas for another time Marshall got drunk after his "deceleration" and messed up. I don't think it has to do with a kid, maybe he got drunk and married a stripper during Barney's bachelor party?

 Oh and, TEAM ROBIN!

I guess that is from previous seasons, which makes since.  DH didn't know, and he is the reason I started watching it.  I guess I freaked out something would happen to Lily.  I get weird about stuff like that.  I stopped watching Charmed for 2 years when they started messing with Piper and Leo.  I'm just weird that way.

I am so confused by Marshall's t-shirt. I really don't see it as being something to do with their future child. That would be creepy.

I loved when Lily slapped Ted! Also, I could not stop laughing at the bride standing up and declaring she was pregnant. If she had just waited two seconds! Whoops. Watching Marshall going gaga over all the babies was really sweet. 

I am neither Team Nora or Team Robin. I can't see Barney settling down. I am unsure of what to think about Victoria making an reappearance. 

I can't wait for next week.
