Pork allergy and CF

If any of you with pork allergies are also CFers...would love to chat.

Am not sure where we go now as the pancreatic enzymes are made from pigs...without them, LO can't absorb nutrition.

Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker Emergency ileostomy 11/28/10, CF dx on 12/3/10 and ileostomy takedown 1/24/11, feeding tube placed 7/1/11...still going strong! Little one lost 5w5d, 5/27/2012. CP 8/26/2012

    what's CFers (corn free?) Embarrassed

    I know there is one person on here with a pork allergy but never heard of anything associating it with absorbing nutrition.

    I think in this case CF is cystic fibrosis OP, no advice, but I hope you can get it sorted soon (((hugs)))
