My Dr. Appt turned into a L&D tour

I went in this morning at 9:00 for a BPP and NST. Well, on the NST the babies heart rate dropped and I had a contraction so they decided to be cautious and sent me up to L&D to be monitored there. So we were up there for about an hour and half all the while the lady in the next room was in labor and screaming bloody murder. This of course horrified my DH and made me want to give her an epidural myself. Anyway, everything looked good after the second monitor so they let me go home and told me if I continued to have BH or contrax to call.

Glad everything's okay! Lol about giving that poor woman an epidural yourself, I'm glad you and your H didn't have to stay and listen to her for long :-)

Well I am glad everything is ok now! I don't want to have to go to L&D before I'm ready to deliver... I'd run away if I had to listen to someone in labor next door. Of course I'm still in full denial that these babies ever have to come out.

Mine did too, but my tour was really just a tour. Since I moved here since having DS and didn't take the refresher childbirth class, they sent me to L&D to tour the facilities.

I'm glad you're doing better though!
