New Cry?

anyones LO's discovered a TOTALLY new cry. Since yesterday DD has discovered her throat will make a new type of sound. I'm not even sure if it is a real cry. My Mom commented that she thinks she is just excited about this new sound. It's a hoarse sounding scream/yell but she is doing it when she is mad instead of her normal "cry" but it just doesnt sound like a cry.

It's so funny. She will ever make hoarse sounding sounds when she talks to us  sometimes during happy times too now.

My LO has. I thought it was because she had a cold last week but her cold is now gone and yet the hoarse cry is still there. She also just realized she could shriek. It's so funny.

oh man. Liv actually discovered the throat/hoarse cry at 1 month of age. I took her to her 1month appointment by myself and she got a Hep B shot. We got home and she was doing this! DH and I were both freaked out at first because it was the first time we heard it and we thought she must have been super miserable. But then she kept doing it as days went on. In fact nowadays she does it when she is super bored. Like she would cry like that, we'll pick her up, she'll stop, look around, and then cry the throat/hoarse cry.

I think nowadays she does it too when she really wants something because there are these lanterns we have hanging up, and as soon as we walk nearby them and she sees them, she starts giggling and all of a sudden stops crying. lol DH thinks it's her "whiny" cry. She doesn't do it all the time now but it's pretty funny when she does.
