Big AW: Bought a new car today!

Our 2004 Camry has seen better days, and it was time for an upgrade.  We got a 2011 Toyota Rav4 Sport V6.  It's so much fun to drive!  We're having a dvd player installed in the back for the kids.  We'll pick it up next weekend.  We were initially torn between the Rav4 and the Venza, but after test driving them the Rav was a much better fit.  I've never had a New car before, and I'm so excited!

Congrats.  I got my Rav4 in September of 2009 and I love it.  It was also MY first new car too.

When we were looking for a new vehicle last year, we test drove the Rav4 and loved it. The only issue was that we're both tall, and the windshield wasn't high enough for us to see properly.

Thanks!  DH said he feels a little squeezed in it, but I do pretty much all the driving, so he was fine with it.  I'm 5'1", so it's great for me.

Really?  I am 5'10" and I fit great in my 98 Rav4.  I love how long my car has lasted.  I love the '11 Ravs.  I will prolly stay w the same style of Toyota when this one craps out

Congrats on your new car! I got my first new car when I was pregnant with DS, I love it. Before that I had cheapy used cars that got me from place to place but no extras. I love my heated seats, GPS and giant sunroof I have now.
