I woud honestly be vary cautious when buying carriers off ebay. Several knock off carriers have been sold there lately, and are made from inferior materials that are not tested the way that real carriers are.

OP-what colors and size do you think you'd be looking for?
It's pretty easy if you know what you're looking for to buy a real carrier off of ebay. As long as you get pictures from the seller/know what the "real" ergo box/labels look like you're fine.
tried thebabywearer.com and it is WAY too overwhelming for me... anyone looking to sell wraps or slings to a newbie on budget?
Right? FSOT used to scare me and. It can be TOO much! I haven't been there since they had plans to divide the it by type of carrier. I imagine that might make it a little less crazy to navigate..

It does make it easier, if you know you're looking for a wrap, then FSOT wraps is where you head, and honestly, even though I know most of the names now, if I am looking to buy something I still just go and browse the threads until I see something I like.
If you are a little patient, and make sure you ask questions about anything you are interested in, you can get a really good deal.
Is there something you are looking for in particular? A long wrap, or short, colour you like/pattern you like? A little more detail and we could probably help you look!
I have the Balboa sling (Dr sears receommended) in black & white. I used it maybe twice. A friend highly recommended it so I got one but DS hated being in it so it didn't get much use.
