Boiling hemp? Use soap or not?

I am googling and some things say to use dawn and others down.  What do you do?

They are Babykicks Joey Bunz Hemp inserts.  I'm not going to wash them because there are only three and I don't want to run the wash a bunch of times if not necessary.

I don't think I did. I don't think it matters, honestly. If you have some, put a little in. If you don't, don't.

I just boiled mine.  No soap needed

I use a tiny drop of Dawn, but you don't have to.
