Does anyone know of a good gluten free bread or pasta? I bought some bread today and it tastes like a sponge, literally. My son loves grilled cheese sandwiches, so I've got to find something edible! Thanks!
I've heard good things about Udi's bread. We're egg free so we can't try it. The Van's waffles are really good- you could use a plain waffle to make the grilled cheese.
For pasta- We use Tynkinyda (I know I spelled that wrong). You have to be really careful about how long it cooks- overcooked GF pasta is nasty.

Udi's bread is the best one I have found that is already made. If you have a bread machine, we like the pamela's bread mix. It is a good one because your bread machine does not have to have a gluten free setting.
I second Tinkayada pasta. Tastes as good as regular pasta to me.
Udi's and Rudi's are the best gluten free breads out there. Udi's works for your allergy list, I'm not positive of Rudi's.
I like Tinkyada pasta, but I think the Trader Joe's stuff is every bit as good and about half the price. Tinkyada is nice because it comes in different shapes like lasagna noodles.

Hey! I've had celiac the past 3 yrs so Ive tried my fair share of breads!! By far the best bread I have ever tasted is the grainless baker...They sell online, wegmans, whole foods, and other natural food stores. I'd call first to confirm. It is the only bread that my husband will eat that is GF. Also I found the the Quinoa pasta is the best too!!!
Re: Wheat/soy/peanut/tree nut allergy. Rec. for gluten free bread?

I third the Tinkayada pasta. I just tried the Trader Joe's brand too & it was very good.
I buy Food for Life Millet bread. They also make a brown rice loaf & a tapioca loaf. The millet bread is very dense & filling.

They have a few different breads, but we found the tapioca loaf to be the best.
We have just discovered Canyon Bakehouse GF bread. It is delicious and for us is better tasting than Rudi's and Udi's.

Not sure if it has anything else in it that you are allergic to though? Worth looking into!
