Early? Late? Or on your EDD?

I don't remember which board I saw this on, but it prompted me to bring it up here because I thought it was kind of interesting. When you were born, were you early, late, or did you arrive on your due date?

I was forecasted to arrive around the end of February, but I ended up arriving 2 weeks late on March 8th. And so began the pattern of me being late forever and ever.

I think I was right around my due date. I can't imagine being 2 wks late! DD was 9 days late and the endless "Are you in labor yet?" questions were agonizing. lol

I was due on February 21st and came on the 18th. From the time my mom's water broke until I was delivered was 4 hours! I was the first. She likes to say that I fell out at 6lb 8oz. 

My sister was then a scheduled induction from day one. They were afraid that if her first came so fast, she would not make it to the hospital with the second. Even with an induction, little sister came within 6 hours of pitocin was starting.

I was almost 2 months early! I weighed about 4lbs when born. Crazy!

I was 4 days early, meaning I born at the end of May instead of June, which my mom was so happy about  since she wanted a May baby

I was 2 wks late.  My oldest sister was a little over 2 wks and my middle sister was the only one who cam close to her due date.

 I thought for sure I would go 2 wks over w/DS, but he came 2 days before his due date.

I was supposed to be a mid-January baby, but was born roughly three weeks early on Dec. 20.

My mom saw 2 doctors while pregnant with me and had 2 different due dates at each office.  I split the difference and came right smack dab between the two.

I was early, my b-day is May 26, I believe I was due the first week of June.  My mom was in labor for 26 3/4 hours, which she reminds me of on every birthday.  That's the part I'm really not looking forward to.

I was a preemie somewhere around 4 weeks early. I was due in November but came early October. My dad was in the army and since I was so early he missed it but luckily they lived close to my grandparents and they were able to be there to take care of my brother and support my mom.

I was almost three weeks late. My poor mom! I was reading an article on AOL last night that said that ms and whether the baby is early or late is herediatry. I say BS though bc my mom didn't have any ms and I have had it for like seven weeks now! Hopefully the baby will be on time or a little early rather than late!

I think I was late, but I don't know by how much.  I am sure once my mom knows I am pregnant I can ask her these questions without seeming odd.

I was 2 or 3 weeks late, but my mom said back then they didn't really know.  She didn't have any ultrasounds and I think they just guessed based on LMP, so who knows.  My sister was a little bit early.  I'm a foot taller and many many pounds heavier, so growing up I used to think that was because I had several extra weeks to hang out in the womb.

I was a week early, via scheduled c-section.  My mom was relieved because she went  almost 3 weeks over with both my sister and brother before me, and was in labour for over 30 hours with each!

I was 3 weeks early. With LO #1, I just had a feeling that I wouldn't go to my due date and I was right - DD was born 2 weeks early. I actually don't think she was that early, because my original due date was 10/29 and they pushed it back to 11/10 - she showed up on 10/27 at a healthy 7 lb 14 oz and the pediatrician said the second she saw her, "there is no way this baby is only 38 weeks." This time, I am hoping to not go overdue, but we'll see what plans the baby has.

I was born on my due date.

My name is January, but I was conceived in January and born in October.

My DD was due May 14th (mother's day) and after 6 days of labor she was born on April 20th.

Yeah mine was in labor for something ridiculous like 45 hours. She loves to remind me of that. I just hope it's not hereditary.

ETA: Corrected ridiculous hour amount. I was curious so I texted my mom to find out.

Three  weeks late an over-cooked!  My mom had to have emergency c-section with me cause I was a 10lb whopper!

I think I was a week late. My sister was about a week early. My birthday is June 9th, and hers is May 22, so really we were due on around the same day, two years apart.

I was about a week late.  My birthday is October 27th, and my mother was having nightmares about me being born on Halloween and coming out looking like Wednesday Addams.

I think my due date was April 10th and I arrived at 3:32am on April 11th.

Both my brother and I were a few days late. My mom doesn't remember how many days for me, but my brother was 5 days late. So we were both very close to our due dates.

My due date was July 29th, and I surprised everyone my arriving on June 26th.  a little over 4 weeks early and 100% healthy. They guessed that they had predicted the wrong due date due to my size Oddly enough, it was the only time I have arrived early for anything

Yes she reminds me often that I was late and then she was in labor for 3 days...my Dr & I have an understanding that history won't repeat itself in this case!

I was born on my exact due date.

My first was born on her due date my second was 2 days late and the last one came early by 9 days due to induction. We will see when this one will come.

I'm a twin, and was born on or within two days of my due date!  My other siblings were the same.  DS was a week and a half late.

I was due June 22, but my mom was induced (toxemia) and I was born on 3 weeks early on May 30th.  Despite this I weighed in at 8lbs 11oz...

All three of my siblings were between 3 and 4 weeks late.  And both of my sisters went over by 2 weeks and had to be induced.  I'm doomed

I was due the end of November and was born Dec 7... my DD was due the end of October and came Nov 8 (she stuck it out through 3 early inductions and was still a week+ late!)

5 weeks early!!! My other three siblings were are born within a week of their EDD!
