anyone order from scholastic 'honeybee' book club (Sept '11)?

Just looking through for good ideas, our daycare participates and the prices are good plus daycare gets books if you order. I think I might get some of the fall/halloween type books and maybe some 'little critter'. not sure.

Ideas if you have this also?

  • I let the boys each pick one from the catalog and then I picked one or two.  I think J picked the big green monster and K picked one about trucks.

MIL is getting the Winnie the Pooh cooking book and the National Geographic sets.

  • They gave us four book order fliers to order from! Honeybee was one; I just turned in the order today.

We got the set of fall-shapes lacing cards and The Bravest Fish. From another one I ordered an I Spy book ($1!), something about a hippo eating the teacher, and one other that I can't remember now.

I loved book orders when I was a kid, and I was so happy to see they have them for preschool. I really had to rein myself in -- it's hard to resist when so many of the books are $2-$3!

  • Cool, thanks! I was thinking of several of those (including stinky face- we have I love you stinky face and I think I enjoy it more than the kids do ;) ).

  • We got the three Five Little Monkeys set and the Wheels on the Bus - two of DS's favorite things right now! I had to pace myself knowing that we'll be getting new order forms each month. lol
    I like privacy. A lot.
  • I used the online ordering option which was nice because I could search through all of the books, not just the flyer. We bought a bunch of Little Critter books and Freight Train for my little train-lover.
