What is your experience with implantation bleeding?

Hi Ladies, I hope you don't mind me hoping over here from TTGP. I thought I'd bring this question to a board where everyone has had a BFP. I'm just wondering what your experience with implantation bleeding is (for those of you who had it.) I had some super light spotting a little while ago. It's barely noticeable. I'm not due for AF for two and a half weeks. I've never had spotting mid-cycle, so I really don't know what to expect. TIA for your input.

I never had any IB, I just had some serious AF type cramps a couple days before AF was due. I would assume those were implantation cramps.

ETA - I'm not a charting expert, but if your period is still 2.5 weeks away, I don't think that could be implantation bleeding. The timing just doesn't match up - would give you a very very long luteal phase.

I think that would be ovulation bleeding (if anything).

Yeah, my chart was kinda effed this month. It was all over the place, and since I'm out of town right now and was predicted to O on Friday (and MH isn't with me) I gave up on temping. I didn't know there was such a thing as O bleeding. Interesting, now I'm glad I asked, so I don't have to get my hopes up.

I had IB at around 6 dpo. Some minor cramping with it. Are you sure you've ovulated? Implantation doesn't happen until 5-10 dpo so it depends on when you o'd. You can get spotting from a whole bunch of other things too.

I had implantation spotting and cramping at 9 dpo, had my bfp at 10dpo. If you are spotting mid cycle, they say that is a good sign for fertility. I spotted midcycle on the cycle I conceived.

How do you know you are 2.5 weeks away from your period if you don't know if you have ovulated yet??

1) that really makes me wish I was with MH. Shoot, better luck next cycle.

2) I always have had a 27-29 day cycle. The spotting was just making me wonder, but I had no Idea that you could have O bleeding.

I had implantaion bleeding-about 3 days of light spotting and then it all of the sudden stopped. This occured about 8 days before I should have started AF.

I never had any implantation bleeding. I didnt even find out i was pregnant until 8 weeks lol

I've spotted at O before- unless you O'd early (which is totally possible) it's likely not implantation bleeding.  The egg won't implant until 7-12 DPO so you won't see implantation bleeding until then.

I didn't have it with DS.  With this pregnancy, I spotted at 6DPO and again a tiny bit at 9DPO.

I had very light spotting on 12DPO and 13DPO, then got my BFP on 15DPO.

I did indeed have IB about half way between my cycles - this is TMI (but you asked and it's good to be in the know) - two days of light flow, darkish red/brown - enough that a panty liner didn't quite cut it - I had to use a lightdays tampon.

During almost every cycle, I had some kind of spotting. On the cycle we got KU, no spotting. I know that's not what you want to hear, but everyone is different and you can't really identify if it's going to be IB or just spotting until after BFP. Hope this is your cycle!

I had it 13 and 14dpo(very light brown spotting).  I got my BFP on 13 dpo.

I had it with my first pregnancy. It happened a week after when I think I ovulated (never charted so really who knows). This was a week before my period should have come/a week before my BFP. Got my BFP 3 days before expected period. 

 I did not have any implantation bleeding or signs of pregnancy this time around until the day I was suppose to get my period and just got super bloated instead.  Took a test a few days later.

I think I had it on CD21-CD23.  It was like a really light period and red.  In fact, I  thought it was a period and had no idea I conceived.  Good Luck!
