Ridiculously Hungry - Healthy Snack Recs?

Is anybody else ridiculously hungry already? I know we don't require many extra calories in the first tri, but I feel like I am constantly starving (its sometimes bad enough to wake me up at night). I really do not want to gain 50 lbs (or God forbid, more) this pregnancy, so I need your filling, healthy snack recommendations! I am currently enjoying Greek yogurt, but, what else?? TIA!

  • My go to snacks are fruit, and veggies dipped in hummus :)

  • I know exactly what you mean!  I feel like I am always hungry.  I totally forgot about this part of being pregnant.  I keep grapes on my nighstand next to my bed so that when I wake up in the middle of the night to feed Micah or go to the bathroom (seriously?!  I don't remember that starting this early with Micah!) I can eat a couple and it will hold me over until morning.  As far as snacks go I've been eating a lot of fruit and Cheez-Its.  I'm kind of picky about what I eat this pregnancy--most food just doesn't sound good.
  • Ugh..Jerky is so delicious. I especially love deer jerky. ;_; But, why is it so costly? Great list! I stick with trail mix that have dried fruits & peanuts (no candies, boo). And, of course, fresh fruit. Also, for particularly nauseous days, I have wheat crackers with a slice of cheese & (again) some fruit. :)

  • I really like homemade hummus with pita bread.  Or apples slices dipped in peanut butter.  Yum!

  • It hits me at different times. Some days I don't wanna eat but I make myself. Other days I don't want to stop eating. I eat what I crave but I work in carrots, grapes and other fruit to try to be healthy as snacks. I love the Activia yogurt. My Dr said I should try it and it tastes really good to me. Oh and colby cheese. I can eat it on crackers, plain, bread.....anything.

  • I'm really into pears and nectarines right now.  I also recently discovered Newton thins in Cranberry Orange--taste like a muffin, but whole grain and more of a cracker/cookie thing.  Peanut butter on saltines.  Oh, and almonds...I'm eating lots of almonds.

    Lately a lot of things don't really sound good to me, but that was because I was feeling so incredibly sick.  Now, thanks to some meds, I'm feeling more human and am looking forward to eating again.
