    Eeek. I've been surviving off of honey dew melon and cantaloupe. Hopefully it doesn't spread to IL.

    Same here. All I want is fruit. I think I eat a cantaloupe a day... Feel fine so I think I'm OK :)

    Yea, it's pretty much my morning breakfast everyday. And one of the few things I can tolerate to eat on a daily basis (which is an extremely small list).

    I've heard before that canteloupe is the dirtiest fruit to eat, because nobody washes it first and its web-like peeling is great for catching germs and bateria. Cutting through it pulls the germs into the meet of the fruit.

    Exactly. Indulge in your cantaloupe; just be sure to give it a thorough washing BEFORE you start slicing and dicing.

    I guess this will be probably the only time that hating cantaloupe will actually be a good thing. Doesn't normally matter.

    Oh no!  I've been eating cantaloupe every morning with my breakfast!  Something else to worry about.. fantastic.. 

    I never thought about it being a dirty fruit but it totally makes sense!  Thanks for the heads up.
