It's sort of crazy. Even when she is not awake I wake multiple times at night and I would honestly swear on my life that I had heard her cry.
But really, I'm just dreaming it, reliving it in my nightmares. Isn't that a sign of PTSD? lol
(It happens even when I've been away for the night. In a hotel many thousands of miles away...)

I too hear phantom baby cries, but also during the day. Also I hear them in the shower which makes me really sad when its my only time alone.
Could it be real sometimes when you're home? S sometimes just lets out a random shriek in her sleep? As for the hotel sleep-that just makes me sad for you.

My life has a superb cast but I can't figure out the plot.
Yes! I've said this multiple times about DD's sleep (or lack thereof) and what it did to me. We ended up doing Ferber at 7 months because I was starting to have panic attacks every night because I didn't know how many times I was going to be up. And every time she would make a sound at night, I would jump. Sucks.
