Can You Make a Scary Face (can't remember the author)

non-fiction books work at this age too. The child may not be ready for the text, but they can appreciate the illustrations. Spiders by Nic Bishop, but really any of his books would work visually for this age group. My son is two and he loves non-fiction pictures with animals.
