Lol.  MH has been much more anxious during this pregnancy than I am.  His latest worry is that my clothes are uncomfortable because I wasn't wearing pants when he got home.  I assured him that all of my bigger pants were in the washer and that they do, indeed, fit.  What silly things has YH done?

MH tries to talk to the baby like I'm carrying it in my boobs. I'm like "a little lower, honey."

haha that's awesome! My DH laughs and shakes his head every time I get up to pee which is pretty much every 30 minutes! Also, even if we eat a big meal I'm hungry 20 minutes later. He laughs then too and says, "you're seriously hungry again?" "yes, I seriously am. I'm not gaining weight and I'm eating like a horse so this food is obviously going somewhere, like the BABY!!! "

mine likes to try and "help" after ive thrown up by getting me some crackers and something to drink and he hovers til i drink and eat, he also one time put tooth paste on my tooth bruch before i was even done being sick.

Mine once decided he wanted to hear the baby's heartbeat with his ear through my stomach. He pressed his ear up right against my stomach and told me to be quiet. It didn't work.    

Another time he decided he wanted to talk to the baby and put his mouth up to my stomach and talked.  It was pretty cute.

My husband has sympathy pregnancy to the max.  Everything I say I have or experienced he's got.  He's gained more than me in the first tri mostly b/c of my m/s.  Now last week I said I had a type of cotton mouth with the metallic taste and now every other day he's got cotton mouth (generic no metal). I have hot flashes he's hot and cold I'm like dude other than the baby can I please have something to myself.

My husband thinks I am helpless now. Don't carry the groceries. Don't get up too fast. Don't slip. Protective to the max.

What I really want him to think I am helpless to do is to clean! I have no desire to clean whats so ever!

When we first found out I was expecting and I started having symptoms DH would say "you're not pregnant enough to be having all of these symptoms lol'.  I had him read some of the What to Expect book and now he totally gets it. But now that he is "more informed" he worries about everything I do. I'll very occasionally have a sip of his beer or wine to tastei t and he freaks! LOL.

I told my husband that I had one dream about a miscarriage, and that in my dream I didn't know if it was just bleeding or a miscarriage. He told me to stop having dreams like that. I said "yeah...cause I have total control over what I dream about" he thought about it for minute and said "here is what we're going to do. I am going to go rent the scariest movies out there, and we will watch one each night before we go to bed. You'll be too busy have nightmares about horror flicks then to dream about pregnancy problems." Yeah I told him that sounded like the worst idea ever.

I love your husband's quote - made me lol when I read it! My husband stands over me while I'm sick and rubs my back. Then he usually grabs a wet rag and puts it on my neck. Very sweet!

DH has never been protective of my, but now that I'm pregnant that has all changed. He constantly monitors my caffeine intake, and now usually says "my baby doesn't want that," if I opt for something less healthy to eat, i.e. fast food.
