I'm considering growing my hair out. It grows extremely slowly, so I thought that pregnancy might be the time to do it since it's growing a little faster than normal. I had it short from age 10-19. I grew it long and then cut it off again when I was 22. I'm now 27. Part of me feels like I won't always be able to have long hair, so I might as well do it while I'm still young. Also, I've gained some weight over the past 5 years, so I don't think that having short hair is as flattering as it once was. Finally, I think long hair might be easier. I could shower at night and just straighten (wouldn't take too long, my hair is mostly straight anyway) in the morning. Now, I have to shower, blow dry, and curl my hair before it looks decent. Here are some pics. Let me know what you think.
Here are some recent pics.
This is a pic of my hair at its longest. I don't think I would grow it quite this long again. I'd probably go about 2-3 inches shorter than this.
The problem I always had with my long hair is that it seemed to be stringy a lot. Also, I have kind of a high hairline, and my ears stick out, so I think I look goofy in a pony tail. And let's be honest, with two LOs running around, I have a feeling it would end up in a pony a lot.
Here's a couple of less than flattering pictures of me and my long hair.
This one is the same day as the last one. How did it go from looking okay to look terrible? My big worry is that my long hair would look like this more often than it would look like the previous picture.
Here is me in a ponytail.
I need opinions, please!

I agree with PP on chin length. It flatters your face really well. I hope you're not pregnant in those pics because your skin is amazing! I'm super jealous with my new 14-year-old skin!!
My problem with my long hair is that it inevitably ends up in a pony and I look like a college student.
