Hi ladies! Been away all summer, taking a much needed break. DH and I had a relaxed, fun-filled 3 months without Clomid, shots, ultrasounds, IUIs, temps, the bump, stress and heartbreak. It was nice to get back to just the 2 of us, enjoying being husband and wife ![]()
But summer is over, and we are about to start the process again, fresh and ready to get down to business. It begins tomorrow evening, with an Open House event at the Reproductive Science Center in Northern California. I was referred to them by an old friend who is now 6 months pregnant. I haven't spoken to her in years, but I noticed she had commented on my sister's facebook post. I decided to see what she had been up to and went to her wall page. The first thing I saw was a picture of a beautiful stroller someone had given her. As I read more of her posts, I saw a crib and an ultrasound picture. I messaged her privately to congratulate her on her pregnancy, and she told me all about RSC. She was successful on her 2nd IVF attempt!
I am very inspired by the timing of this re-connection with my old friend. If anything, it has given me hope because I was not sure whether to continue with another IUI or try IVF, or even give up all together. So I am taking this as a sign to keep trying, maybe explore new facilities and other procedures... I just know I am not ready to give up yet. So if you ladies will have me, I am back on the bump!
